Gaiety and fervour marked the 70th Republic Day celebrations in IES Public School Sehore as our little IESians participated in a cultural competition organised at police ground in Sehore on Saturday 26th January 2019. The program was embodied by the district collectorate office in the presence of all the highly esteemed official dignitaries with children from variant schools like Oxford school, nutan school and government schools taking part in it. The program commemorated with the unfurling of the 'Tiranga' and all in unison sang the ' National Anthem', depicting the sovereignity of our nation. There was an array of patriotic songs and dances expressing the joy of freedom and awakening everyone's patriotism towards the motherland. Through their mesmerising performances students showcased the deep rooted rich cultural heritage of our country. The students pledged to remember the responsibilities of rediscovering their country by acquiring a broader vision and overcoming their weaknesses. The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony where our school bagged the second prize and a wonderful speech by the chief guest Hon’ble minister Mr. Aarif Akeel showcasing India as a progressive and evolving nation on the world's map and with the dream of a shining India, a vibrant democracy and a secular nation.
